Empower Technologies Announces an Agreement with
Experience Wireless Fidelity
June 21st, 2004, Redmond, Washington - Empower Technologies, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Empower Technologies Corporation (TSX.V: EPT), an innovative company that brings the power and flexibility of their LinuxDA Embedded Operating System development platform to the consumer electronic industry, has entered into an agreement with Experience Wireless Fidelity (India), a Company incorporated in India.
This agreement grants Experience Wireless Fidelity (India) exclusive sales, distribution and service responsibility for marketing of Empower’s PowerPlay series of PDAs and future mobile smart communication devices through their distribution sales channels in India.
Experience Wireless Fidelity (India) deals in several non-proprietary products and devices which complement Empower’s product line. Those products include cell phones, lap top computers, cell-phone battery chargers and various ancillary products.
According to Dr. Edward Dennis, President of Empower, "This agreement sets in motion a team effort much greater than the sum of its parts." The continued sales of consumer electronic type products powered by Empower’s LinuxDA Embedded Operating System development platform have always been a critical success factor of the company’s strategic plan.
