Empower Technologies Announces Commencement of Distributing Products with Major US Computer Retailer
Richmond, British Columbia – September 20, 2004 - Empower Technologies Corporation (“Empower”) is pleased to announce its subsidiary Empower Technologies (Canada) Inc. has received the first purchase order from CompUSA of Dallas, Texas to supply the Xbox® 5.1 Surround Sound System.
“We are very pleased with the results of the Spherex Distributorship. With the stroke of a pen, we have added 227 stores in 90 major metropolitan centres and made our first foray into the US. This is in addition to our Canadian distribution channel with Best Buy Canada, which has approximately 100 stores across Canada. Empower now has combined distribution channels of 300 plus stores and North America continent-wide coverage. This is a positive step in our revenue building effort”, said Edward Dennis, President of Empower.
