Empower Technologies™ Announces Signing an Omnipolar Technology License Agreement
with Audio Products International Corporation

Richmond, British Columbia – December 20, 2004 – The above License Agreement signed by Empower Technologies Corporation's subsidiary, Empower Technologies, Inc. (“Empower”), with Audio Products International Corporation (API) grants Empower the right to incorporate API's Omnipolar Technology in the designing and manufacturing of approved products on a non-exclusive basis for a royalty fee and is for a three year period commencing October 22, 2004. These products may be privately labeled (OEM) or sold under Empower's PowerPlay™ smart consumer electronics’ brand.
