This exciting new media chair has been developed by Empower with design and engineering by a world class leading seating manufacturer and their award winning designers. The prototype models will feature a state-of-the-art 5.1 surround sound system from Logitech and a powerful tactile transducer by Aura Sound.
The PowerPlay Media Chair has a 5.1 surround sound system integrated into the frame, on board digital processing, flexibility with multiple inputs, compatibility with all gaming consoles (including the soon to be released next generation systems from Xbox and PlayStation) and a tactile transducer that allows users to not only hear, but feel the action. Ergonomically designed for extended gaming, viewing and listening sessions, the adjustable seat-back gives players much needed lumbar support. The near-field 5.1 experience offered by this product is far superior to the conventional surround sound set up as it puts the player right in the "sweet spot". The combined result is a sleek, modern look in basic black and polished chrome that is comfortable, easy to ship and assemble (no tools required) and provides a truly unique experience.
