Empower TechnologiesT Extension of Warrants
Richmond , British Columbia - June 8, 2006 - Empower Technologies Corporation (“Empower”) (“TSXV: EPT”) is pleased to announce that the expiry date of its common share purchase warrants issued on June 20, 2005 (the “Warrants”) and scheduled to expire on June 20, 2006, has been extended for one year to the close of business on June 20, 2007 (5:00 p.m. PST),. The exercise price for the Warrants remains at $2.50 per common share. The Warrants are subject to a warrant indenture between Empower and Computershare Trust Company of Canada dated June 20, 2005, which is to be amended by a supplemental indenture providing for the extended expiry time. The total number of Warrants issued under the warrant indenture was 1,593,185 (exclusive of agents’ warrants) and no Warrants were exercised prior to the extension of the expiry date.
