September 1, 2006 Addendum

Richmond, British Columbia -September 7, 2006 - Empower Technologies Corporation ("Empower") ("TSXV: EPT") announces addendum to its news release of September 1, 2006.

On the announcement of the Purchase Order from its first LEOs licensing customers as reported on June 28th of this year, the Company has already delivered the software to its customer under the software development contract and has recently received the first initial Purchase Order of value less than $100,000 under the supply agreement. Due to the extremely competitive nature of their fast growing industry, the Customer has requested that Empower continue to keep their identity and business in strict confidence.

On the announcement of Empower University Program, please refer to the joint press release of Empower and Texas Instruments dated June 26, 2006 in which Empower announced their collaboration with Texas Instruments University Program Worldwide ("the Program") . Under the Program, the Company has signed two distributors and delivered products as a result. We foresee more Universities and Distributors joining and benefiting greatly from the program in the future based on the fact that currently two more potential distributors are already in the process of reviewing the distributor agreement with Empower and there are thousands of universities participating under the Program with Texas Instruments which Empower is now part of.
