Empower Technologies™ Announces New Sales and Marketing Initiative

Richmond , British Columbia – March 27 th , 2007.

In the wake of its recent Design Win with customers in the automotive, RFID, and aerospace sectors, Empower Technologies Corporation (TSX.V: EPT) is proud to announce that Mr. Lee Faulk has joined Empower's team as Director of Sales and Marketing for embedded system technologies at the Company's U.S. subsidiary in Redmond, Washington. Mr. Faulk will be taking over the sales and marketing of Empower's core embedded technology LEOs (Linux-based Embedded Operating software) from the outgoing VP of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Alex Romanov .

Mr. Faulk has a vast sales experience in the hardware and software businesses within the computer industry. He has also worked as a manufacturer's representative. His last position as the Sponsorship Coordinator was with DeviceForge LLC, where he was selling sponsorships to the industrial computer community for embedded computer website portals – www.linuxdevices.com and www.windowsfordevices.com . Mr. Faulk is very knowledgeable and well versed in the embedded-system market.

Empower is determined to embark on a major expansion of its strategy of marketing and selling its core technology LEOs and the associated platform development kit “LDKxxxx.” The new strategy will expand the Company's sales and marketing focus from the consumer electronics market to the broader embedded-system market, which includes the automotive, RFID, industrial control, and medical devices sectors.

Drawing on his more than 25 years of sales experience, Mr. Faulk will first focus on building a manufacturers' representative sales network in all the key technology centres across the United States and Canada to drive rapid adoption/Design Win of Empower's core technology in the target industry sectors. The goal is to create a highly efficient sales network of LEOs and LDKxxxx platform development kits among developers, manufacturers, value-added resellers, and system integrators within the next six months to increase market penetration.

Mr. Faulk will also be responsible to fast track Empower's Design Win customers to turn Design Wins into engineered products using LEOs and LDKxxxx development platform to generate recurring sales. Mr. Faulk will be based in the United States.
