Empower Technologies™ Retains Exponent Communications Inc. for Investor Relations
Richmond, British Columbia – May 31, 2007 - Empower Technologies Corporation (“Empower”) (TSX.V: EPT) is pleased to announce that it has retained the service of Exponent Communications Inc. (“Exponent”) of White Rock, BC to provide investor relations service effective June 1, 2007. This is part of Empower's ongoing effort to consistently making upgrades in all areas of the corporation to improve the costs, the quality of the service and the results of the operation.
The principal of Exponent, Mr. Marc Boivin utilizes the latest communication techniques and technologies to help companies to manage their investor relations. It also applies the most advanced IT based CRM (Customer Relation Management) system to ensure a high quality service to the investors and their clients. Exponent service is to include advising Empower on the best practice of investor relations, introducing Empower to industry professionals, maintaining a database of investors, brokers, and financial contacts, and communicating with shareholders, other investors and financial communities.
The agreement between Empower and Exponent has a term to August 31, 2007, which may be extended for a further three months by mutual agreement, and provides for compensation of $4,000 in the month of June, 2007 and $3,500 per month thereafter. Exponent is at arm's length to Empower, is also to receive stock options for 30,000 shares of Empower exercisable at $0.90 each for twelve (12) months, subject to certain vesting provisions, and TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory approvals.
