Empower Technologies™ Announces Completion of
Closing of Non-Brokered Private Placement

October 21, 2011 – Richmond, British Columbia, CanadaEmpower Technologies Corporation (TSX.V: EPT) (“Empower”) further to August 15th, and October 6th, 2011 news releases, the Company announce that, it has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange on October 19, 2011 for the total non-brokered private placement announced for $154,500 for 1,236,000 Units (the “Offering”) at a price of $0.125 per Unit. Each Unit consists of one common share and one half common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share (the “Additional Share”) for a period of one year from the date of issue at a price equal to Cdn.$0.20 per Additional Share.

Empower and Teatyn Enterprises Inc. (“Teatyn”) has mutually terminated the investor relation service agreement.
